After completing my 31st hackathon without a single win, I finally understood how much I still had to learn. This isn't a story about losing, it's about having my ego shattered, finding a new benchmark, and discovering the motivation to keep improving.
What started as a simple screen replacement turned into an unexpected lesson in smartphone engineering. From exploring the motherboard and ribbon cables to understanding how hardware and software interact, this hands-on repair saved me thousands of rupees while sparking a new curiosity for embedded systems and hardware development.
